Britain’s highest-profile railway project has a new man in the driving seat. Mark Wild has filled the vacancy as chief executive for the massive HS2 high-speed rail project. The new CEO has a track record for huge infrastructure projects. He was latterly in the hot seat at Crossrail, the £15bn (€17.55bn) project that became London’s Elizabeth Line.
