Russia agrees to Moscow-Saint Petersburg high-speed rail
Russia has approved plans to build a high-speed railway line between Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The 679-kilometre railway should make it possible to travel between the country’s two largest cities within two and a half hours. Currently, that travel time still takes four to five hours.
