DB, SNCF launch first ever direct Paris-Berlin line for €60

For the first time ever, Deutsche Bahn’s (DB) Intercity-Express (ICE) trains will travel directly from Berlin to Paris. Starting from 16 December, trains operated by DB in cooperation with SNCF will run from one capital to another in just eight hours. The two European carriers revealed the new route at InnoTrans ‘24, stating that the link was “a strong signal that Europe is growing together by rail.”
