Siemens officially UK’s newest train factory
Better known as a fishing port and once a country resort made popular by the railways, Goole has a new reason to engage with the iron horse. Siemens Mobility has officially opened its new manufacturing facility in the Yorkshire town, with order books already promising new train fleets for customers like Transport for London. Civic leaders are already calling Goole a modern-day railway town.
