Euston, Crewe, and Manchester could all be back on the railway agenda. A U-turn, that most unlikely of railway manoeuvres, is on the tracks, over the future of the world’s most maligned railway project – Britain’s faltering attempt to build a high-speed white elephant / pointless elitist super shuttle (delete as appropriate).
