Severn Tunnel closed for another major track replacement
Some say endless jobs are “like painting the Forth Bridge”. In the West Country, they may well say it’s more like “track renewals in the Severn Tunnel”. Less danger of vertigo in the darkness under the river, but the view isn’t nearly as good as the one in Scotland.
