Britain’s high-speed rail project, HS2, has asked selected engineering partnerships to tender for a system-wide train dispatch contract. HS2 Limited, the company formed to build the high-speed railway between London and Birmingham, is moving ahead with procurement, even though trains are several years away from running. HS2 has invited Hitachi Rail GTS UK Limited, Indra Sistemas S.A., and Siemens Mobility Limited to tender.
