Construction of the new Friesenbrücke (Frisian Bridge) over the Ems River near the German city of Weener is progressing: several tons of the bridge’s first section were installed last Monday. Three more elements for the new swing bridge followed in the course of the week. The railroad bridge – soon to be part of the Wunderline – had been out of service since 2015.
