Trains to Krakow from Kielce, Warsaw, and the Tricity are set to run smoother thanks to Polish infrastructure manager PKP PLK’s move to upgrade its traffic control devices. Railway workers from subcontractor Krakowskie Zakłady Automatyki SA will replace switches and telecommunications systems, as well as install new barriers at Krakow Przedmiescie station under a €5.34 million contract.
