One day after resolution, a new strike hits Britain

Incredulous passengers could hardly believe their ears. The two-year strike on Britain’s railways is almost over. However, less than a day after a deal was finally found, a new strike has been called. A bitter dispute has blown up between the drivers’ union and the operator on the line between London and Edinburgh. As a result, damaging strike action will stop almost all weekend long distance trains on the East Coast Main Line until November.
