Spain: Adif invests €24bn in 4 years, gets a brand new boss
Spain’s Adif and its high-speed subsidiary, Adif AV, have announced they are investing 24.1 billion euros over the 2022–2026 period. That’s nearly three times bigger than the entire GDP of Monaco. More than half of this amount will go to the conventional network, commuter trains, and freight, while the other fifty per cent will have already been executed by the end of 2024. And now there’s a new company chief overseeing the allocations.
