Euston: DfT forces Network Rail to act on overcrowding
As anger grows about safety and the general functioning of London’s Euston station, Network Rail has announced a plan to bolster services at the beleaguered station. The most immediate impact will be switching off the massive advertising screens that have replaced passenger information. But whether the new measures will be enough to stave off a wider scandal sparked by the station and the culture at the top of the UK’s rail management remains to be seen.
