SNCB resubmits scaled-back train plan despite objections

SNCB has resubmitted a watered-down version of its train offer for 2025 despite Belgium’s outgoing Mobility Minister rejecting a similar plan last month. Georges Gilkinet responded by saying he “regretted the absence of firmer commitments for the future.” Well, many of the promised night train services will have to wait, but there are other big changes to passenger services for the new year.
