Brighton Main Line reopens after stormy works
Following a nine-day line closure, the Brighton Main Line reopened on Monday after works to tackle delays for Southern and Thameslink passengers. Network Rail engineers rebuilt a crucial junction, laid brand new track and shored up embankments to reduce the risk of landslips, while the storms Eunice and Franklin didn’t make it any easier.
