HS1 shares first results from harvesting brake energy from trains
Recuperated brake energy trains on the UK’s high-speed line HS1 can power more than 375 homes on an annual basis. That’s the conclusion on the part of HS1, the company operating the high-speed line, following an analysis of the first six months of using regenerative braking technology.
