Engineering upgrades close historic Lymington
It’s a quintessentially English scene. A train winds its way across a harbour to a historic ferry pier. There were examples all over the country, especially in the south, and a charmingly quaint example still exists in daily service at Lymington. Except it won’t for the next few weeks, and not at all, unless planned engineering upgrades are carried out on the Victorian wrought iron bridge over the harbour.
